Amusement Park Tivoli Gardens

Christiansborg Palace

The highlight of the palace is the tower with its 360-degree view over the city. On a clear day, you can even see Malmö from up there. By the way, access to the tower is free, though there may be some queues. There is also a restaurant at the top, which you should probably book in advance to secure a seat.

The palace is really a must-see if you want to immerse yourself in Danish history and enjoy a good meal with a beautiful view.

National Museum of Denmark

Also close to the Tivoli Gardens is the National Museum of Denmark. If you’re into museums, this is a must-see when you are visiting Copenhagen. Representing 14.000 years of Danish history that range form the ice age to the Viking lore all the way to contemporary lifestyle and modern culture, it is home to the largest cultural exhibition on Denmark.
